While Others Wait: Elijah on Mount Carmel

In a society without moral anchors, with civil authorities hostile toward his religious faith, the prophet Elijah still chose to be a “religious fanatic” and be as committed to the Lord his God, as God was to him.
It wasn’t just the fire falling from Heaven, but the call of the Lord on their hearts that made the difference that day.
It still is.
