Christ in the Bible: An Introduction

The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us… (John 1:14)

In the volume of the book it is written of me… (Hebrews 10:7)

What was written in Moses, the prophets, and the Psalms concerning Him… (Luke 24:44)

The written Word is all about the Living Word.

Since Jesus Christ is the Word, is God, is the Author and Finisher of our faith, that means He can be found throughout the entire written Word.

We see Him in type, shadow, metaphor, parable and parallel.

We see His holiness, deity, sacrifice, burial, and resurrection.

We see His Divine nature, His humanity, His life and times, character, and mighty works.

We see that He has always been the Beloved Son of the Father in Whom He is well pleased.

Here is a short survey of a few places the glorious Christ appears in the pages of the Book of books.
